Rolandos Kayias, one of the key figures of ACW, recently crossed borders and made the Cypriot professional wrestling scene proud by competing in two matches in Germany.
He became the first-ever Cypriot ACW wrestler to compete on German soil — writing an important chapter in the history of Absolute Cyprus Wrestling.
More specifically, Kayias first took part in a Tag Team Battle Royal under the banner of German Wrestling Promotion (GWP), a promotion with a long-standing tradition in the German wrestling scene. The match took place in Nuremberg.
However, the highlight of his trip came in Frankfurt, where he competed at Fightback Pro-Wrestling during the Open Sunday 17 event against Ardit Alija. In a high-intensity match, the Cypriot wrestler earned an impressive victory, further building his reputation abroad.
After returning from Germany, Kayias shared the following statement with the ACW website:
“It was a truly beautiful experience for me. I gladly accepted the invitation to travel and wrestle for these two great promotions.I want to give a special thank you to Aaron Insane, who believed in me and gave me the opportunity to compete in Frankfurt at Fightback. It was an honor.”
ACW congratulates Rolandos on this major accomplishment and wishes him even greater success in the future!
